- 1/2 oncom block
- 1 plate of cooked white rice
- 2 tablespoons of anchovies
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 lime leaf
- 3 shallots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 bird's eye chilies (adjust according to spice preference)
- 1/2 segment of ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
To make Nasi Tutug Oncom, follow these steps:
- Preheat the Double Pan and add the oncom. Bake the oncom until it becomes slightly crispy. Remove from the heat and puree it.
- Heat some oil and sauté the shallots, garlic, chillies, ginger, and coriander powder until fragrant. Add the bay leaf and lime leaf and continue to stir-fry.
- Add the pureed oncom to the pan and mix well with the spices. Season with salt and adjust the taste according to your preference.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir-fry until the rice is well coated with the oncom mixture.
- Lastly, add the basil leaves and continue to stir-fry for a few more minutes.
Your Nasi Tutug Oncom is now ready to be served. Enjoy it as a main dish or with additional side dishes of your choice.
