Ingredients

Ingredients:
  • 225 grams butter
  • 150 grams margarine
  • 30 grams powdered milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 100 grams powdered sugar, sifted
  • 75 grams cornstarch
  • 450 grams flour
  • 12 grams matcha powder
  • 250-300 grams of pineapple jam, rolled out first
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons liquid milk
  • 200 grams grated cheese

Instructions

  • Mix the margarine, butter, and powdered sugar.
  • Using a Vienta Mixer, stir the mixture until it turns pale white.
  • Add the egg yolks to the margarine mixture one by one, beating until smooth after each addition.
  • Add the cornstarch, flour, matcha powder, and grated cheese. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Place the nastar dough in the fridge and let it chill for about 30 minutes.
  • Remove the nastar dough from the fridge and take small portions of the dough. Roll each portion into a ball and fill it with pineapple jam. Shape the dough into round balls with the jam in the center.
  • Arrange the nastar on a baking sheet that has been greased with margarine.
  • In a separate bowl, prepare the egg wash by whisking together the egg yolks and liquid milk.
  • Brush the top of each nastar with the egg wash.
  • Bake the nastar in the Smart Oven using the Cookies menu.
  • Once the nastar is cooked, let it cool and chill until the hot steam dissipates.
