  • 40 grams of wheat flour
  • 10 grams of cornstarch
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar

Instructions

Instructions:
  • Preheat your Smart Oven using the preheat menu. Prepare a round tin and line it with non-stick paper.
  • In a Stand Mixer, mix the wheat flour and cornstarch until well combined.
  • In the New Smart Cooker Low Carbo, melt the butter, cream cheese, and liquid milk using the Boil/Steam menu. Remove from heat and set it aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks using the Stand Mixer with a whisk disk stirrer attachment.
  • Add the flour mixture to the beaten egg yolks and stir with a spatula until completely mixed and no lumps remain. Set it aside.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg whites until they become fluffy and slightly frothy.
  • Add the cream of tartar and sugar to the beaten egg whites. Stir well until the mixture becomes stiff.
  • Gently fold the egg white mixture into the previous mixture using a spatula until smooth and well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the cake in the Smart Oven using the Bake menu, using the steam bake technique by placing a pan filled with water underneath the cake.
  • Bake until the cake is cooked and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before serving.
Note: You can adjust the sweetness of the cake by adding more or less sugar according to your preference. Also, feel free to decorate the cake with frosting or other toppings.
