- 1 whole chicken, washed and cleaned
- Rujak seasoning (you can use a pre-made seasoning or make your own with a mixture of spices such as chilli, tamarind, shrimp paste, garlic, shallots, and palm sugar)

- Rub the rujak seasoning all over the chicken, making sure to coat both the inside and outside of the chicken.
- Use a toothpick to pierce the bottom of the chicken to allow the flavours to penetrate.
- Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavours to meld.
- Preheat your Smart Oven with the Rotisserie function according to the oven's instructions.
- Place the marinated chicken on the rotisserie skewer or rack, ensuring it is secured properly.
- Set the oven to Rotisserie mode and cook the chicken until it is perfectly cooked and golden brown.
- Check the temperature of the chicken using a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches a safe minimum internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Carve the chicken and serve it with your favourite side dishes or dipping sauce.
