- 250 grams bamboo shoots, sliced
- 1/2 kilogram fish fillets, cut into pieces
- 1 stalk lemongrass, bruised
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 lime leaves
- 2 tamarind kandis (optional)
- 800 ml coconut milk
- Granulated sugar, to taste
- Salt, to taste

- 4 shallots
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 3 candlenuts
- 1 segment of ginger
- 1 segment of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 5 curly chillies

- Sauté the mashed spices, bay leaves, lime leaves, kandis acid, and lemongrass in the cooker until fragrant.
- Slowly pour in the coconut milk while stirring gently until it comes to a boil.
- Add the fish and bamboo shoots to the cooker while continuing to stir gently to prevent the coconut milk from breaking.
- Season with sugar and salt according to your taste preferences. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Continue cooking until the fish is fully cooked and the flavors are well combined.
