Ingredients:
- 1 chicken, cut into 15 pieces
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 4 green chilies
- 2 bay leaves and lime leaves
- 7 cayenne peppers
- 2 green tomatoes or starfruit
- 3 cm galangal
- 3 stalks of lemongrass
- 500 ml coconut milk
- Salt and sugar to taste
- Banana leaf
Instructions
- Boil the chicken in water using a Smart Pressure Cooker until the water boils.
- Discard the foamy chicken cooking water and drain the chicken.
- Sauté the sliced spices in a Smart Pressure Cooker until fragrant.
- Add the chicken to the spices and mix well.
- Add water and cook until the chicken is half cooked.
- Pour in the coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Prepare a container with a base made of banana leaf.
- Place the cooked chicken along with the gravy and sliced spices into the container.
- Add pieces of belimbing wuluh, red tomatoes, green tomatoes, red bird's eye chilies, bay leaves, and lime leaves. Cover the top with banana leaves.
- Steam for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from the steamer and serve hot.
